Change & Stasis

"Dancer" by nationally renowned sculptor Donald Gerola freezes motion at the intersection of two thick steel plates together weighing a ton. It's a perfect example of the flow of movement modality arrested in unforgiving reality.

Just because something is ideally fluxus doesn't mean it can't be permanent. Don invested his own million dollars into making kinetics and statics that he LOANS to worthy recipients, like children hospitals, museums, and national parks. 

Art is an idea flowing through you like a conduit.
