The Muga Caula (www.lamugacaula.cat) is an annual encounter of action poetry and performance that takes place in Les Escaules (Alto Ampurdán, Gerona, near Barcelona, Spain), organized by Joan Casellas, from 16 to 20 Setiembre, 2009. The place was made famous by being the place of rest of Marcel Duchamp and another brillant artists like Man Ray and Salvador Dali. Andrea Seaman (Switzerland); Jordi Cerda, Koke Vega, Carlos Llavata, Carlos Disk, Nelo Vilar, Xavier Canals, Pep Aymerich, Eva Perez, Esther Ferrer (in whose homage is carried out the encounter), Isabel Lion, Gustavo Vega and Yolanda Perez Herreras (Spain); Boris Nieslony (Germany); Malgosia Butterwick (Poland); Omar Saadeune (Morocco); Paolo Colleoni and Tomaso Binga (Italy); Elvira Santamaria (Mexico); Pietro Pellini (Germany); Vasya Vasileva (Bulgaria) and Willem Wilhelmus (Finland) will participate. Meantime Raul Marroquin (Holland/ Colombia) will offer the seminar "Videoart, Net-Art and Experimental TV" and Clemente Padin (Uruguay) will direct the workshop "Experimental Poetry, Mail Art and Action Poetry."
