The first Brick + Mortar International Video Art Festival will present cutting edge video art works from around the world in Greenfield, MA. On October 10, 2009 the downtown will be transformed into a temporary arts district with a selection of contemporary video art exhibitions scattered across a variety of historic buildings curated by Natasha Becker, Mellon Assistant Director in the Research and Academic Program, at the Clark Art Institute. The aim of the festival is to create a unique and exciting opportunity for the public to see contemporary art and to encounter wonderful architectural spaces. Conjunction Arts and Greenfield Community College have partnered, with the support of the Greenfield Business Association, Greenfield building-owners, local businesses and the Mayor’s Office, to make this first edition an unforgettable event.
