NEW YORK, NY (AP).- Artist Jeanne-Claude, who created the 2005 Central Park installation "The Gates" and other large scale "wrapping" projects around the globe with her husband Christo, has died. She was 74. The two artists met in Paris in 1958 and have been collaborating for 51 years on temporary public arts projects.
Very sorry to hear of Jeanne-Claudes passing. I lost my wife Gina to breast cancer in 1993. It is a terrible disease. Mysympathies to Christo and the family. We have all lost.
