Nepal Art Council, Babar Mahal, Kathmandu. Professor Satter is the first Asian Biennial Grand Prize winner along with great Nepali artist Batso Gopal Vaidya, 1981. An orientalist and a print-maker, Dr. Satter is the first US Fullbright Scholar and first Ph.D holder among the artists of Bangladesh."
