INAUGURAZIONE Domenica 29 aprile 2012 - ore 17.00
Per continuare a credere, a sperare in un paese dalla dignità violentata, dalla cultura ferita sono necessarie ora più che mai azioni decise: Padiglione Tibet – un sogno che ha lasciato il segno - vuole essere un forte segnale di protesta per ricordare tutti i martiri tibetani, lo spirito dei quali è incarnato dalla figura centrale del Dalai Lama, il cui viso è l’emblema ed il punto di luce dell’intero Popolo Tibetano. Nascono così INviso: azione collettiva realizzata domenica 28 agosto 2011 - finissage della tappa veneziana – da artisti, amici, sostenitori della causa tibetana che si sono trovati presso Padiglione Tibet per poi recarsi, indossando una maschera con il viso del Dalai Lama - senza dubbio il volto più INviso ai politicanti cinesi - davanti all’ingresso dell’ Arsenale di Venezia che ha ospitato il Padiglione Cinese; seguito da INviso: progetto di Mail Art (primo progetto di tale network presentato alla Biennale di Venezia) in cui circa 250 artisti di tutto il mondo sono stati invitati a realizzare un’azione con la maschera del Dalai Lama precedentemente inviata ed a documentare tale azione attraverso foto e testi, spediti successivamente per posta ed esposti a Torino presso Padiglione Tibet.
